These digital audio clips of radio contacts with Bluewater Cruising Assn. sailors were recorded at random times. not necessarily when signals were the strongest or clearest.     Each one shows the Solar Flux Index (SFI) for that day, giving a rough estimate of ionospheric conditions at the time.     Most contacts were done at times and frequencies chosen for optimal propagation based on the location of the sailboat.     The sailboat's distance from Berkeley (in miles) is shown in green. e.g., (4,250)
